Salary for AFCAT: Stipend

Candidates who pass the AFCAT exam are assigned to the Indian Air Force Academy for training. Cadets are paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 56,100 during their training period (Starting pay in Level 10). The training period is 74 weeks for cadets in the flying and technical branches and 52 weeks for cadets in the non-technical branches. The stipend is paid in the final year of training.
