Facts About TET Exam

The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is a national (CTET) and state (TET) exam used to determine if applicants to the teaching profession are qualified. This examination identifies the minimal qualifications that an applicant must acquire in order to be eligible to teach pupils in grades I through VIII. This exam is required in order to be considered for teaching positions in our country's public schools. In this Exam, you must appear for two papers: Paper 1 is for applicants who want to educate students in grades I through V, whereas Paper 2 is for aspirants who want to teach children in grades VI through VIII. Both the TET Exam and the TET Exam are held at the same time. central as well as the state governments of India. Most of the states in our country conduct their own TET. This TET was performed to meet the Law of Children’s Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.



TET Exam Pattern

1) The Paper 1 and Paper 2 recruiting exams will be conducted in pen-and-paper format. Both papers will take 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.

2) The questions will be geared toward primary and upper primary students. Candidates can see Sample Question Papers to get a sense of the types of questions that will be asked in the test.

TET 2022 Paper 1:

Number of Questions - Each segment has 30 questions.

Nature of Questions - Types of Objective Questions (MCQs). Each question will have four options, but only one of them will be right.

Offline Exam Mode (PBT)

Exam Medium – Except for language parts, all question papers will be written in English and Hindi at all exam centres.

Marking Scheme - Each question is worth one point.

Negative Marking - Negative marking is not available.
