Are you preparing for the UPSC this year? Great! It is critical to go over essential questions asked in prior tests that may occur in the forthcoming exams to ensure that you are well prepared for all disciplines and themes, including general science.

Every year, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts exams for residents in order to recruit them into the country's civil service. In order to be admitted to the UPSC, candidates must sit for and pass the test for the specific area of specialisation in the UPSC that they wish to pursue. The exam is usually divided into two parts. A preliminary exam with objective style questions is administered first. A large number of aspirants are sorted here. Then, for the eligible students, a main exam with essay style questions will be administered, after which candidates will be chosen based on an interview.

UPSC's preliminary examination is solely for the purpose of screening. The marks achieved in the UPSC prelims test will be used to determine their final order of merit and will not be used to determine their qualify to take the UPSC Main examination. Two papers with objective type questions make up the preliminary examination. Both papers are worth 200 points and are only used as a screening test. CSAT is the Paper-II of the Preliminary Exam, and to qualify for the Mains, a candidate must have a minimum score of 33%. (written). Prelims Paper I focuses on current affairs, while Paper II, or CSAT, is an aptitude test. Note: A candidate who passes the mains in a given year is allowed to sit for the main exams in that same year.
